Business Immigration
The United States welcomes thousands of professionals, entrepreneurs, and other foreign workers in many occupations every year. We help that great talent to thrive and the companies that hire them to grow with the best workforces possible.
All foreign workers must obtain permission to work legally in the United States. Each nonimmigrant employment category has different requirements, conditions and authorized periods of stay. We work with employers and foreign nationals to select the most appropriate category.
We then put our experience to work for you, whether that means getting a visa approved for an individual or helping companies obtain permanent residence (also known as a green card) for employees.
We provide a full suite of immigration services for our companies including:
- I-9 & LCA Compliance
- Immigration Policy Development
- Reporting and Monitoring
Nonimmigrant Visa Options
We prepare and submit visa applications for temporary employment in a wide variety of nonimmigrant visa categories. We guide our clients by reviewing all possible options and offering a cost-effective solution.
The most common nonimmigrant work visa is the H-1B visa option. For companies with foreign offices, often an L-1A or L-1B visa is the best choice, and there are several training visa possibilities including J-1 or H-3. Country-specific options include the TN visa and E-1/E-2 visa. We work with foreign nationals of extraordinary ability to secure O-1 visa status, as well, and religious workers have several specific options available to them.
Immigrant (Green Card) Options
We can help you find and then travel one of the many paths to permanent residency. For foreign nationals who would like to petition for a green card without relying on an employer for sponsorship, there are options for those with extraordinary ability and for those whose work is in the national interest. Outstanding researchers and professors are able to take advantage of a fast track green card process. Religious workers have a separate avenue available to them, as do investors. Where the law requires a test of the U.S. labor market, we shepherd clients through the legally complex PERM labor certification process.
